Our mission is to help children discover and achieve their best, by offering learning & development programs that teach essential skills through play, exploration, reading, and socialization - in a safe and engaging environment.
Our Learning & Development Programs
We offer six unique and exciting learning & development programs. Each of our child care programs is designed to promote engagement and active learning for children of all ages (from 6 weeks to 12 years). Each classroom is thoughtfully created to promote a positive learning environment that keeps our children engaged and motivated.
Health Guidance and Assistance Programs
As part of our commitment to quality care for all of our patrons and staff, we are a peanut-free child care center. We follow state and local health authorities' guidance to ensure a healthy, and safe environment. We also participate in several financial relief programs, including the Nevada Ready program, which provides Pre-K assistance money to those who qualify.

For the safety of everyone at our child care center, we are a peanut-free learning center. This means that peanut-containing products may not be brought into any classroom.

QRIS Rating
Nevada QRIS Rating System
The Silver State Stars Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS), is operated by The Division of Welfare and Supportive Services. It is a voluntary program open to all child care centers in Nevada. Sunshine And Rainbows QRIS Rating
Through the QRIS, our learning & development programs are assessed and given a number of "stars" to indicate what level of quality has been reached. Sunshine And Rainbows has been awarded 4 Stars!
